We have an exciting opportunity for a Line Lead in the Factory, located in Malmo, Sweden.
The Line Lead is responsible for leading a team of Equipment Owners (EOs) within the shift and for delivering the necessary results to achieve the Business Need (CBN)/Enterprise Plan through rigorous application of RTT/IWS tools.
Total of direct reports: Up to 16 employees
Working schedule: 5-shift pattern
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strictly applicable of IWS tools/standards used by daily Line DDS, leading and reporting QIE DMS and coaching the team to follow standards and to ensure that improvements to be planned/unplanned downtime to deliver on schedule.
- Responsible for performance improvement in all areas and with expected prioritization, safety, quality and volume on dedicated lines by actively working from an IWS perspective and current processes (90 DAP).
- Leads and distributes the work by ensuring production with correct resource planning according to the production plan and staffing model throughout the year.
- Ensures that the line structure is helpful at the production line and in the event of planned line stops.
- Coach individual and entire teams and support resources to adhere to set standards and document standards for improvement.
- Monitor and ensure that the company's EHS, Quality and hygiene policies and regulations are adhered to on the production line to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
- Support staff training planning by coordinating with supporting functions around training sessions.
- Lead by example and according to BAT values by coaching individuals and teams at the line on a daily basis.
- Responsible for ensuring that the products produced on the dedicated line are produced according to the expected quality standards and meet the specifications of the product.
- Ensures that NCP processes on the line are followed and that RCA and CAPA are correct, complete, documented and communicated in a timely manner in the DDS structures according to IWS standards.
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires by following up on the onboarding plan and supporting the employee to meet the requirements within the timeframe.
- First contact for HR-related topics (e.g. Kontek, Talent Mgmt., Falck, Apparel).
- Responsible for recruitment and staffing within the own team.
What are we looking for?
- Experience within LEAN and/or IWS manufacturing.
- 1-2 years of leading teams experience.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Fast learner, pro-active and willing to adapt quickly.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once.
